On Sunday morning at One Community Spiritual Center, we have two different options for kids to grow deeper in Spirit. 

During our 9:00 a.m. service childcare is available for children ages birth-Kindergarten.  Children in grades 1^st-5^th grade are encouraged to participate in our Kids Sunday Spirit located on the lower level in Friendship Hall beginning at 9:00 a.m. and ending directly after service at 10:00 a.m.  On alternating months, kids attending 1^st service Sunday Spirit may experience:

·          Kids Yoga:  a fun-filled yoga practice for kids with breathe work, storytelling, meditation, and an essential oils foot massage.  Taught by Kids Yoga instructor, Kelly Colln.

·          KidsJam:  an alternative form of music expression using recycled materials to create drums and instruments.  Led by Kelly Colln.

·          HeartART:  a guided meditation followed by artist expression.  Taught by Montessori art teacher, Melissa Toye.

During our 11:00 a.m. Kids Sunday Spirit , we offer spiritually fun classes for ALL children  and teens (birth to age 18).  Children under the age of 18 are expected to either attend class or be accompanied by their parents in the sanctuary during services. It is recommended that you arrive at least 15 minutes early for service as we have a classroom sign-in policy for nursery through the eighth grade. The adult who signs a child in for class must also sign them out.

Our Second Service classrooms include:

• Nursery:  Ages birth-3.5

• Unitots:  Ages 3.5-pre-kindergarten

• Unitikes:  Kindergarten – 1^st grade

• Unikids:  Grades 2^nd-4^th

• Unitweens:  Grades 5^th-6^th

• Uniteens:  Grades 7^th-8^th

• Youth of Unity:  Grades 9^th-12th
   

 DUE TO INSURANCE REGULATIONS, NO CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 16 MAY BE LEFT WITHOUT DIRECT SUPERVISION BY A PARENT OR GUARDIAN, IN THE CHURCH OR ON THE CHURCH GROUNDS, AT ANY TIME. THIS INCLUDES BEFORE AND AFTER SUNDAY SERVICES, MEETINGS, APPOINTMENTS, WEDDINGS, AND SOCIAL EVENTS. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP IN ENSURING THAT OUR CHILDREN REMAIN SAFE AT ALL TIMES.

Saturday Night Service: Childcare beginning at 5:45 PM

Sunday 9:00 AM Service: Childcare beginning at 8:30 AM

Sunday 11:00 AM Service: Sunday School

The Doors to the Youth & Family Ministry Area open 15 minutes prior to our services. We ask that parents not enter these areas until the doors open as teachers are busy preparing their rooms for the children and will not be able to give your children their full attention if they arrive early. 

The Youth & Family Ministry Area closes at 12:15 p.m. on Sunday Morning. We ask that parents promptly retrieve the children as soon as service concludes. This allows our volunteers time to clean up their class space, to pick up their own children and to spend time with their own families on Sunday after service.
